Our Mission
Our mission at S.M.A.R.T is to give back to the children of our community with real intention by providing them with a safe and nurturing environment that combines a fun night of constructive entertainment with educational learning. Through this innovative combination we will help cultivate the bright young minds of the future. Character building and Intelligence is what we stand by! Being in the S.M.A.R.T. club isn't just being apart of any club. It's being apart of a new generation of S.M.A.R.T. children.
Socialization- This process beginning during childhood is where children acquire the values, habits, and attitudes of a society. It is during this process where our children will determine for themselves the type of person they will ultimately grow up to be. And it is during this process that we must become extremely intentional and cultivate and nurture our children in a manner that will guide them to be outstanding representatives for themselves and their community.
What is
S.M.A.R.T.?
Morality - A doctrine or system of moral conduct. It teaches children what a code of ethics is and how it guides their everyday behavior. Having an keen understanding of right and wrong and the consequences of their actions gives our children a better chance to avoid life’s pitfalls
Awareness- Is the state of being aware of the knowledge and understanding that something is happening or exists. And it is this ability that our children need to be able to properly observe and engage with reality in its proper context. Which ultimately is the basis for how they will formulate their perceptions of life
Rationality - Having reason and understanding. Knowledge is one thing, but without the intellectual understanding to be able to discern what the information they are ingesting actually means, said information can be used to misinform them. Having clear understanding and the ability to use it is a vital invaluable tool our children need.
Transcendence - Is exceeding the usual limits. With all of the socializing the kids will do in the mist of developing a moral code, learning new information and being able to apply that information in a constructive manner will inherently transcend their minds and therefore the children themselves will be transcended from the low state of existence that plagues our community.
In the S.M.A.R.T Program our children will engage in constructive Socialization in a manner that instills a strong sense of Morality in their minds and hearts that will bring about a keen Awareness that will help guide their Rationality in the direction that will inevitably lead to the Transcendence of not only their minds, but ultimately their lives and community.
